Mr. Wan provided an overview of Wuhan city and the government&#8217;s initiatives <a class=\"entry-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.plugpower.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4206.jpg\"<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2738\" src=\"https:\/\/www.plugpower.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4206-e1474460103574-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Andy Marsh with major of Wuhan\" width=\"172\" height=\"229\" \/><\/a> in support of local hydrogen economy and innovations. Mr. Marsh discussed Plug Power&#8217;s commercial fuel cell applications and ongoing collaboration with local companies and institutions around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Wuhan, China, the capital city of Hubei province, has a population greater than 10 million and is the largest car manufacturing city in the world. \u201cI am impressed by Mayor Wan\u2019s leadership in Wuhan, a city full of\u00a0great universities, many dedicated to developing innovative fuel cell and hydrogen technologies,\u201d commented Andy Marsh. \u201cHe truly is guiding the development of the hydrogen economy in China.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Also attending the close-door meeting were Dr. Xianjing Yang, Party Secretary of Tongji University (4th to the right), Dr. <a class=\"entry-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.plugpower.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4210.jpg\"<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2739 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.plugpower.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4210-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Andy Marsh with university representatives in China\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Yanxing Wang, President of China University of Geosciences (3rd to the right), Dr. Yiguo Hao, President of Institute of Geoenvironmental Research (2nd to the left) , and Dr. Zhuoping Yu, Assistant to President and Dean of College of Automotive Engineering, Tongji University. Tongji University is one of top ten universities in China.
