This is GreenH2@Work, Plug’s blog series where we highlight the Plug employees who inspire us and, we hope, will inspire you, too. Today, we’re hearing from Angelique de Jong-Rijk, executive assistant for the Plug System Solutions group (formerly Frames) and based in the Netherlands.

"Angelique

Thanks for taking the time with us, Angelique. Could you please explain what you do for a living in 20 words or fewer?

I support many colleagues at Plug System Solutions, primarily our executive vice-president, but also senior management, sales & marketing, and legal.

Please tell us one of the most extraordinary or unusual experiences you’ve had in your career.

The creation of the Frames website was a very satisfying experience. It took quite some time and effort, but the result was amazing.

What excites you about hydrogen and fuel cells?

I’m proud to be part of a company that will help others to reduce their carbon footprint – and even more because we produce green hydrogen to make the world a better place for the next generation.

Do you have a life philosophy? What is it?

Believe you can and you’re halfway there.

What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?

My alarm clock! I’m not a morning person ?. However, I like my job, working in an international company. It gives me great joy to work together with so many people – not only with my colleagues in the Netherlands, but also with colleagues abroad.

If you could have dinner with four people, living or deceased, who would those people be – and why?
